SUMMER CAMP GEAR
Our campers spend their days participating in camp activities and horseback riding. Please make sure your camper brings the following items clearly labeled with their name to each day of camp.
Pack a lunch and drinks for each day. We have a refrigerator to keep them in.
Sunscreen
Riding clothes: Jeans or riding pants. Short/long sleeve shirts. Tank tops may not be worn for riding. Boot or shoe with small heel. Heel must be at least 1/4 - 3/4 “ No tennis shoes, rain boots or Crocs may be worn for riding.
Activity clothes: Shorts, summer shirts, tennis shoes. NO Flip flops or sandals.
Clothing and footwear will get wet/dirty. Please send clothes that are able to get dirty!
We will have a water activity day, depending on weather. Instructors will let you know which day to pack a bathing suit/etc.
SUMMER CAMP SCHEDULE
Drop off is 8:45 a.m. for our week-long camp and 9:45 a.m. for mini camp.
Pick up is 3:00 p.m. for our week-long camp and 1:00 p.m. for mini camp.
Please make arrangements for latchkey if you need to drop off or pick up outside of the posted times.
If your child is getting picked up by someone other than you, please let your instructor know. All drivers must check out with instructors before leaving with camper.
The first day of camp, parents are welcome to stay to hear announcements, rules, etc. Parents are asked to leave when the ice breaker activity begins.
REQUIRED RIDING GEAR
Riders must use an approved USEF helmet that fits properly. No bike, ski, etc. helmets are allowed. Helmets are available to borrow at the farm if needed. Everything Equine will give you a 15% discount if you mention that you ride with us.
All students must wear paddock boots or shoes with a 1⁄4 - 1⁄2“ heel and a hard sole. Tennis shoes, rubber mud boots or high heels are not allowed.
No tank tops or midriff shirts while riding.
FARM POLICIES
Only students that have a signed release form are allowed to handle, brush, ride, and participate in any Shenanigans Farm horse activities. All others need to stay in designated areas.
All friends and family must stay in designated viewing areas; guests are not allowed in grooming areas, riding arenas, stalls or paddocks.
Do not allow children to run, yell or scream. We have many horses and riders that may be startled by these activities.
No strollers, bikes, etc.
PAYMENT POLICIES (See payment page on website for more information)
Payment is due at time of registration via cash, venmo or check.
Your child's registration will not be final until payment is received in full. It will be dropped after 5 days.
Payment should be mailed or delivered to the payment box located in the Observation Room of the school barn.
Registration payments made within 2 weeks of camp must be made in cash.
No refunds will be issued. Credit may be given under certain circumstances.
PROPERTY GUIDELINES
The speed limit through the farm is 5 MPH. We have many children, pets and horses that need to be kept safe from speeding cars.
Please stay away from pond.
Do not park on the grass.
Leave your dogs at home.
Do not pet or feed any horses without permission from an instructor. Do not go up to horses in paddocks.
Supervise your children until an instructor greets you.
